I used to like this guy...and I'm not really sure what my feelings are for him right now. I was told that he DID like me but hesitated to ask me to formal last month because he was scared that I wouldn't talk. I'm not really sure what to do, my best friend knows the both of us and she says that I should, and his friend says so too. But I don't want to ask him because i'm not sure of my feelings and i'm not sure of his feelings either. I have today to figure this out, because if i'm going to ask him, I have to do it tomorrow. I don't think you have anything to lose in asking him. You say you are unsure of your feelings about him... so why don't you explore them a bit and find out for sure what they are. Ask him to go with you: at best, you will have a great time and will have found a guy who you really like and want to get to know better. If you don't feel a connection with him or just aren't that into him, there is no harm done - no one is going to force you to continue a relationship with him and you can simply move on with your life.

Go for it girl!!! he's oviously too shy to deal with his feelings, so you need to step up and ask him. Even if you don't "love" him, you can still go as friends.

i would ask him, becuase at your dance you can get a better feel of how you feel about him. when you two are thrown together, it will usually help you sort out your feelings
