According to the bible when the earth is destroyed all the universe Willl be also, and that would include Mars.
I would not worry about it. People have been expecting the end of the world for 2000 years now and I suspect another 2000 wil come and go easily.

BRINGING SHEEP OF ANOTHER FLOCK " you can not hide from God, and not to worry,the space stations are only for the diplomats and the wealthy, You and I do not count in worldly matters.They will see, no hiding from God .
