What is the generic or commercial name for the soft, floppy plastic film that sticks to glass?

The type of plastic suchlike some of the (UK) car tax disk holders are made of. Also does anybody know where in the UK I can buy A4 or similar sized sheets of the stuff?

Its called PVC. Poly Vinyl Chloride

Celluloid? You can buy sheets of acetate (non-sticky) from arts & crafts shops.

fablon you can get it from wilkos or focus its about £2 for a roll you cut to size

In America we call it SaranWrap. I'm pretty sure you guys import it...along with everything else we make.
