I'm a cosmetologist, and thinning can be very effective for overly thick, bushy or hard to manage hair. A good stylist will know how much to thin, and how. Razoring is effective, but may also produce more split ends, since it weakens the hair. Texturizing with shears or thinning shears is best.

I have a lot of hair and have always gotten it thinned since I was a little girl. You don't notice other than your hair feels lighter and you can style it a little easier. You can still put it in a ponytail. Hair thinning is really common. I think ever female that I know has there hair thinned out. Don't worry its nothing serious.

IF you hair is thin, I would not suggest it. I have my hair thinned out once a month. I have really thick hair. My daughter does too. We had her hair thinned out and it was a lot easier for her to straighten. Try it once and see if you like it. The bulk should grow back in a month or two if you don't. Her ponytail also lays nicer and isn't as bushy.

Whilst you get your hair thinned out it'll appear good to start with. Except it starts to grow out. Then it begins to seem all chunky and uneven. There will probably be a ton of flyaway hairs too. I used to get it carried out. Additionally for those who decide to go by means of and do it make certain the man or woman is aware of what they are doing due to the fact that it could rather look dangerous. I had any individual do mine as soon as and it looked like some one just grabbed chunks of my hair and reduce it off with standard scissors, it was once a nightmare. I simply have stuck with layers and it has been adequate. It seems to make my hair not so bulky, particularly given that I straighten my hair day-to-day as well. Good luck!!!

You won't lose any length just some hair.
