Hi there...your cat may likely have an upper respiratory infection (URI) and needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian to receive a prescription antibiotic for secondary infections as a result of the URI. There are more than one type of antibiotics to treat URI's which is why a cat needs to be evaluated to be sure the correct one is prescribed.

Would you be able to borrow a little money from friends or family for veterinary care? URI's are serious enough that do merit a visit to the veterinary hospital as it may become fatal if not treated.

He may have a cold. If he's a kitten, you probably should have a vet look at him because the cold could reduce his ability to fight infections. The vet will give you antibiotics to administer.

I adopted a 6-month-old kitten last month, and two weeks later he was sneezing constantly and then became so stuffed that bubbles were popping out of his nose. He became very lethargic. But after a quick visit to the vet's and 10 days of antibiotics, he was his old, mischievous self.

If you can't afford a simple vet visit, you shouldn't own a pet.

call a cat rescue corporation and word what they could be able that can help you you with or see if there's a Vet on your area which will cope with the cat and allow you to make funds. If neither of those are recommendations, take your cat to the SPCA or Humane Society. they are going to both cope with it or placed him to sleep if he's too ill yet he received't conflict through. Cats in many cases get higher respiration infections. He would have that, yet he would really have a cat ailment which will be deadly. Please do some thing in the present day! maximum tremendous cities or perhaps some that are not that vast have after hours intake.

If a person doesn't have money to take care of there animal and at least bring them to the vet when they need it, then why have the animal in the first place? I think people need to consider these questions before they buy a big responsibility. Take him to the vet anyways... don't let him just suffer, if you have to do it for the animal's life, then give him up.

Call and ask a vet, explain your financial situation and maybe they can help you. I am sorry for you and your kitty, I hope he gets better. You should comfort him though, pet him and soothe him.
