If we make contact with aliens do you think that will further disprove god or do you think it will make people believe in him more.

What makes people think any species "intelligent" enough to reach us will make contact when we are in the throes of fantastical delusion about how our own planet came to be?

It won't prove or disprove anything except there are aliens. I'm sure that will open up a whole different can of worms in this section too.
I can see it now....."My God is an alien, what about yours?"
Something to look forward to.....LOL.
i don't think if the aliens are as intelligent as they have been portrayed to be they would want to contact us morons here on earth. LOL That is the equivalent of us talking to an earthworm. (Just my opinion)

It would further disprove God, but to a believer it probably would not matter. Jehovah has so much evidence mounted against his existence yet people believe anyways.

i think it would help disprove the existence of God.. at least the God that most of the Western world believes in.. i mean, there is no talk of aliens in the Bible..

It would go a long way in dispelling that strange caricature of spirituality we know as fundamentalism. Then again some fundamentalists would just deny the aliens' existence, just like some people still deny the earth is round today.

As a skeptic, (from the Greek meaning "one who looks") I give a very low order of priority to contact with "aliens," by which I take it you mean creatures from outer space.

depends...if your a Jehovah Witness it would turn your world upside down for sure!
If aliens came I wouldnt even think of it disproving or proving a god....
but it would prove that I was right all along!

Scientologists would cream thier panties if the aliens came. Well, maybe they would. Either way, somebodys a gonna come.
but, it would be cool to see lil green people with ray guns and what not.
