post things about evolution post it here? Is it because they won't post it in the science section because they have no idea what they're talking about?

Ya, those guys would get a kick out of it. Especially if they didn't see the agenda behind it. They would think they were dealing with a five year old.

Most of the people who post about evolution are creationists, so their questions have nothing to do with science. Sadly, yes, this is the correct place for them to post that stuff. It reduces religion to a ridiculous level, and I'd think that believers would be frantic to shut them up. I'd be horrified to have a serious interest of mine represented by such a bunch of ignorant liars.

No, the people who post things about evolution often know what they are talking about. The difficulty is that you insist upon holding on to opinions about evolution that cause you to find postings on the subject unpleasant.
