Yes I do. By the way I am self taught basically. If anyone is interested in learning just buy a good standard cookbook such as a Fannie Farmer or a Better Homes and Gardens and read the front chapters. They discuss menu planning, how to make things look nice, how to set the table, how to organize a meal for a buffet, dinner party, children's Birthday etc. lots of good info from some pretty smart people! Also read the intros to the chapters--they'll explain the language particular to the chapter fillet, cutlet, loin for the beef chapter, for example.

I've been cooking since I was five years old. My mom was a paraplegic, and I learned to cook in order to help her. I've also been married for over 30 years, and my husband hasn't starved or died of food poisoning from anything Iv'e fixed.
So I'd have to say that the answer to your question is, "Yes." :-)

I love cooking! It tranquilizes me and makes me happy. Especially Italian dishes as they're so simple to make, and economic, too if you have a bit of fantasy.
