I am 12 years old,and I might not like my boyfriend anymore,because he said "I love you" last night,and I didn't feel right saying it back,but I did.He is 12 also,but,I have been thinking about my ex alot.But,I swore I would never go out with him again because of the way he treated me.So,my boyfriend is real sweet and everything,but,I just don't feel like Iike him as much anymore.What should I do?

Just tell him that you think he is sweet and you do care about him and that your very sorry but you shouldn't have said 'I love you' back to him. He will respect your honesty. Don't give up on him unless you decide that you really dont want to be with him. Just stay honest to avoid confusion. As for the ex.....Leave him as an ex. He is a lesson learned about what you don't want a boyfriend to be. Good luck. Stay safe.

If you don't like ur boyfriend now, don't keep leading him on because the more you do, it'll be harder to say how you feel. As for you ex, if he treated you wrong the first time, odds are he will do it again. So take a break from the love life and find yourself. Think about what you want to do. If you break up with your boyfriend now, at least you won't have to worry about if he's getting more deep into your feelings, Im not saying that its going to be easy, but it will help. Just take your time and find out who you are. And when you think your ready to start back dating, then you're ready.

Miss Jessica - It sounds like you need to be single for a while. At age 12, neither of you should be saying "I love you". And if he is saying that to you, then he is moving too fast. And, why are you thinking about an ex boyfriend who treated you badly? I think you should talk to an older girl that you can trust and ask them what should be happening and shouldn't be happening when you date at 12. In fact, 12 is too young to be having a boyfriend anyways! Most girls dont date until they are 16 and even then, they have lots of problems.

You are way to young sweety, you can't think about fu**ing people just yet. just wait like about 4 more years, cause then you will be 16 and you can drink and drive and then ask your boyfriend to pull down your panties then. Right now enjoy those kid years of puppy love because when you grow up sex, being drunk, and gambling is all you need. Right now you are in the "make out" stage. You can make out all you want now because there will be no time when you grow up.

Tell him how you feel. There is no point in leading him on, that won't make you feel any better, and I know you probably don't want to hear this, but you are 12 and I am sure you will meet many more boys from now until you are 18...

never say you love someone if you don't. tell him you like him very much but you don't feel that way yet. and when you do, he'll be the first one to know.
and your ex should have nothing to do with this, especially if he was a deadbeat.
