my cats love to be in boxes, does anyone know why???

It has to do with their natural instinct to make a "den". They feel safer when they are enclosed. Other animals do it too, my dogs both like to stay in their kennels, especially when it's storming out.

Cats by nature love to hide,be it under a rug,newspaper or in a paper bag.They lobe boxes because they can curl up in them.They love to pounce on you when you walk by a bag or rug.
cats feel protected in boxes.

Yes, they do love those cardboard boxes. I think it is becuase cardboard boxes are warm, cozy and cats like the texture of cardboard.

i dont know but its cute my cat is about 15 lbs and he loves to squeez in tiny boxes

cats love their own space where they can have a bit of peace and quiet. Mine loves to hide under the duvet or the bed

not all cats like boxes but maybe just urs coz mine hate it

They like places that helps hide them so they feel safer...plus , boxes are fun to play in for kitties.
