I think it's mainly an insecurity thing. They don't know how to properly express themselves, so they resort to silly mind games.

Because they are being childish. If people would stop with all the drama and all the attitude and all the selfishness and all the games people just might be able to stay together until death do us part. Mind games are games there games that hurt people and people really need to grow up.

I've been asking myself that same question for years.
I'm in a relationship now which the guy is testing the love I have for him. I've done everything I know, short of throwing myself in front of a train, to prove it, and he still won't hear me.
I think with men, it's an ego thing, hon. But, I will admit playing a little, myself, trying to make him jealous and stuff like that.I believe women do it to get reassurance that he cares about us.
Sure doesn't make it right though, on either side.

There are exciting, truthful issues we do inevitably in a relationship, that the two aspects do. yet whilst the different does it, we call it a sport. video games are in many situations a effect of ones loss of experience in talking the message they're attempting to place across, or no longer understanding the thank you to ask the different some thing you're afraid to ask. particular, we pull off little acts right here and there for the objective of seeing how they experience, or how they could respond in a topic. they're undesirable video games once you start up up messing with the ideas and thoughts. merely study to talk.

I think it's human nature. I've had a few boyfriends that took me for granted. They weren't sure how they felt about me blah blah blah. Then after I broke up with them they were madly in love with me. I'm very straight forward which i guess was too much for them. I try and not play games. 2 of them say they still love me. One guy stalks me (which creeps me out totally) off and on after 25 years!!!!
If I would have played hard to get (playing games) I'm sure I wouldn't have been taken for granted..dang my mom was right again!

Actually I do not. I find it ar*sing to have it done to me. Sadly, people these days never seem to be completely honest with the opposite sex.
The mind games simply take it to a new, and nastier level.
If I can not be honest with somone, and they with me I will not engage in a relatsionship. Prolly why I am single and happy at this stage.

Its a control issue. Some people were hurt in the past and they don't want to be hurt again.
