I'm going out with one guy and he's really sweet and all, but he lives so far away from me that I never get to see him. We talk to each other on the phone and email and stuff, but it's just not the same.

Then there's this other guy who goes to school with me. He's funny, sweet, and we're really good friends. He likes me and I like him. I really want to go out with him, but I don't want to be cheating on my boyfriend.

I like them bother equally don't want to dump one for the other, not date either, or go out with both. I really don't know what to do. I love them both to death! AGH!

I know that your going to hate this answer but... You have to make a decision here... it would really suck to lose someone you care about but if hes reeeally your friend he will probably stay your friend no matter if you decide you just want to be friends or have a break. If your away at school like it sounds or vice versa make sure the guy that you want to date is worth it. This is a big decision more than anything take your time and think.. do you want the long distance guy with history or the new guy that you like and is there but would like to get to know better.

No one can make this decision but you. But please, If you chose to the new guy though dont leave the guy far away hanging.

Long distance relationships tend to not work out. If I were you, I would tell your boyfriend that you want to be friends and date the other guy. Your relationship will be more maningful when you see each other all the time. As for your boyfriend, he's probably not loving your relationship either. It's all for the best.

You're single and dating. You're not married or engaged. If you have explicitly stated that you have a monogomous relationship with the long-distance guy, let him know that you will be dating locally as well. This gives him the heads-up if he wants to do the same. It may be somewhat painful, but yours is the good kind of problem to have: too many choices! (Much better than no choices).

So what would be the problem with "seeing" them both? If they each know about the other, and you have no problem with that, then why would this not be possible?

Probably not the answer you were seeking, but that's all I can recommend if you are unable to make a choice.

all those answers are good. but not much help eh?!
here's what to do. tell both about the other. tell them your quandry and they'll either undertand or not. there's about a 50-50 chance each one will understand so it's fairly likely that just one of them will dump you. so decision made, conscience eased. and you'll know which one you have the greatest trust and understanding with.

yea conflicting emotions are a pain in the *** arn't they? and i know how you feel, ask the other guy to go on a "mate date" as it where and go dutch on everything and be as informal as possable and talk to him, prehaps you should tell him the truth, maybe you won't even like him that much, i know from when i was torn between to girls, it was so hard, oh well one didn't wanna go out with me in the end so it sorted its self quite nicely. but its hard, you have to decide who you want here im afraid but you should get to no this other guy a little better.

Break up with the long distance one and go out with the one who goes to your school. You will have a lot more fun.
