i rarely say i love you to my fiance becuse in my opion saying i love you is supposed to be rare. if you go around saying i love you all the time it kinda loses its meaning.
my gf gets mad alot cuz i almost never say it.
why should i have to say it so much ?

I don't think we want you to say it all the time but we want to feel secure in the fact that you do. If your fiance wants you to say it more and you truly love her, what is the harm in saying it? You don't have to say it on rare occasions in order for it to keep its meaning. True love is just that.......true.

Your girlfriend probably gets mad because when you don't say it often (totally understandable), she feels like you don't love her. Have you explained your perspective? If you haven't, you probably should. To her, you only saying it rarely might translate as you only appreciate her rarely. It can be interpreted, like everything, in a totally different way than how it was meant. Make sure to emphasize that you really do actually love her, but just don't vocalize it as much!

The feeling of security within the relationship. It maybe her own insecurity, that she didn't get when she was younger.
