Long hair Or short hair on women ?

it all depends. If you are over 40, it needs to be chin length.
Long hair looks nice on SOME people. it actually hides a lot of peoples true beauty. If you are 5'5 or shorter your hair needs to be short. 5'10+hair should be short. Long hair is so plain TO ME. put it in a ponytail or wear it down...so exciting!!

It depends on what you mean by short hair. My best friend will call me up and tell me she's cut her hair short so I automatically think the super short styles that my mom and my grandmother's have but in reality, her hair is only slightly above her shoulders. I like long hair but on some women, their hair thins out too much once it gets long and then it doesn't look right either. Personally, I keep my hair about an inch or two past my shoulders which is a nice length for mine but I would love to have long hair.

As a stylist, the length of the hair should be determined mostly by your lifestyle as well as style choices. If you live a busy, active lifestyle, then I would definitely say go with a shorter style. If your life is a bit more laidback, however, longer is the way to go. Also, never underestimate the power of a good, medium length style, either...they are usually very versatile and work well for both longer looks or swept up into shorter styles

Long hair is attractive but when it's too long, it just ruins the whole look.
In my opinion, middle-of-your-back-length is the best (with shorter layers at the front).
Also, long hair doesn't suit some face shapes, so short hair looks better on them.

because of the fact some females cut back their hair too short and that they seem to be adult males. I hate that in basic terms about all 50+ females cut back their hair to boy cuts. Their bodies are block formed and and now they have a guy's hair cut back to pass alongside with it. smh are not getting me incorrect short hair may be warm no rely if it is not thoroughly hacked off. i think of pixie cuts look good on females. yet extra often than no longer, I choose shoulder length or longer hair.

If you get a cutsie short cut, all the ladies will say it looks great, but the guys won't like it. We won't say anything b/c we don't comment on that kind of stuff (I will, but most won't), but if you ask and get an honest opinion, it's long hair that does it for us. But don't let that be the only factor, just thought you might want to know.

if u have a big or circle shaped head then long hair id for u. if u have a head shape like fantasia or kelis, then short hair will work 4 u.

Long hair, when it's healthy. I get so tired of seeing women with long hair that don't take care of thier hair and let it frizz and split. Just because it has length doesn't mean it's healthy. If you can grow it out take care of it please!
