I am now 33 and he is 16 years older than me. I know we are in very different life cycles and this will only become more apparent as we age. Can something like this be overcome?

my friend just married a guy 15 yrs older, if it's true love go for it but just keep in mind you'll really be in for a lot down the road

Yes, it's very possible and and many relationships have overcome the age difference. If you are truly worried about certain things talk them over with the guy, keep the flow of communication open and as long as you two aren't bothered by the age difference don't let others put you down. I have a friend who is 22 and her husband is 34. They are happily married with one child. I would look at how he treats you more than his age.

Actually, the age difference will be less apparent as you both age. My girlfriend is 16 years younger than I am and we couldn't be happier. True love is not bound by age.

Since you are 33, I think that you are both mature for anything to work.
