After the stormy weather I have only been able to get BBC1 and BBC2 to work through my freeview box whereas the other stations say, no signal. I have reception on all the terestrial channels without using the box but my usual freeview isn't working. Any ideas about how to make it work?

You should first try to rescan your Freeview box to see if it will pick up any of the channels that you lost during the storm. If that restores it, great!

The 2nd option is that you may need to arrange for someone to reposition your roof aerial. It's easy to tell if it's positioned correctly by looking at the aerial and comparing the angle of your aerial to that of your neighbour's (unless theirs were moved in the storm too!)

The above option could be quite costly, but it may be the only way to get you back up and running again. Unless you have a friend/relative who is willing to get up and sort it out.

The third option is to check that all of your cables and leads are fully connected to the appliance. One loose lead could knock all the appliances out of sync and connection them fully will restore the appliances just as easily.

I hope this helps, and happy viewing!

Unplug it from the mains then plug it back in again.Try searching for channels again or resetting it to re tune, depending on how your menus work.If you still have no joy I would suspect that your Ariel has been blown out of alignment by the high winds, assuming it is outside, analog terrestrial is more tolerant of a badly aligned Ariel.

could it be that your aerial has moved a bit so you're not getting a signal for the other channels?

have you tried the turn it off for a bit then back on again?

if all else fails, talk to it, kick it and pray x

you might have to tune all the channels in on your freeview box, go to find new channels and it will find all available channels
