from drunken driving and missing a court date several times

I believe everyone deserves a second chance, and while a DUI and missing court dates indicate this individual has exhibited non-responsible behavior, I believe people can and do change. I would not hesitate to date him/her, but I would definitely insist on identifying (and following through with) a DD before leaving on a date if there is to be any alcohol in the evening's refreshments. Hopefully you will be able to ascertain after a date or two if he/she has changed responsibly, and if you are doubtful at all, I would definitely not continue a relationship. Been there, didn't do that, and suffered the consequences. I hope you could skip the latter by using your head instead of just your heart..

If the jail time was recent. No! Going to jail and missing court dates means he has no respect for law, his self or authority. You don't want to get mixed up in that. Yeah, the bad boy thing may be attractive, but the stress and worry that you, your family and everyone else goes through because of HIS stupidity is not worth it. Girl, you are worth and deserve better than that. Find a guy who knows how to control his liquor and stay out of jail. There are MANY out there like that.

Nope. Want to know why?
Drunk driving and then being too chicken to stand up and face his responsibilities? He might as well have "loser" tattooed on his forehead.

Depends on what she has been charged on. If i am able to have a decent conversation with her, and if she prooves that she has changed, i don't see why not.
