I honestly like them all! Chinchillas cost more, but my friend has one, and he (the chinchilla) is awesome. I have dogs and cats, and they're cool too, so I honestly can't really pick. With dogs and cats, it kind of depends on the breed. With all pets, temperament is very important. You may think cats rock your socks, but if you have a mean cat, well, that one is not the pet for you. So I would say just look at temperament if you can't decide the pet that is best for you.

I personally believe a dog is a better pet because they keep you company and constantly want to play. No offence to those who think that cats are better pets, but cats normally don't want to play. If you are constantly busy and or don't like to play around i would recommend a cat, but if you want someone who understands you I would recommend a dog.

Do your research, then decide what you will be the most willing to take care of,Cats are easier than dogs, you have to walk dogs, along with feeding, cats pretty much take care of themselves, but you need to keep the litter box clean, that means removing waste everyday, and replacing litter, they get hairballs, so giving them something to help the hairballs pass, they like to eat grass, so growing grass for them, they like to sit in windows, when I let mine outside I tie them up just as I would a dog. That way they stay safe, and other animals are safe, they can learn this as a kitten, just put the leash on and let them walk around with it until they get used to it, then you handle them on the leash, for bits of time, they get used to be led around pretty fast. Chinchilla's need fine sand to keep clean in, I don't know what their diet is but I'm sure you can find out from your pet shop

For me, it would be, a kit -ty!!! I love felines and a cat I feel, is much better than a dog. A chinchilla? I don't know on that. They're cute, though.

cats are definatly the best. They are generally quiet and can clean themseslves. They always pee in a box and many are very aggectionate. i prefer cats ove rdogs any day.

i my opinion a dog is, but if it is a girl dog u have to buy it dipers because they have periods. studies show that 75% more of cats run away more than dogs.

Cats, for the reason that they clean themselves, you do not have to take them outside to go to the bathroom, and they are sooo cute and cuddly!
