www.hse.gov.com. Health and safety executive. They will advise. They also have the power to come and investigate and where possible issue notice to employer to correct the matter. Can issue fines and take legal action also

If your boss doesnt listen then you can tell the HSE (Health and Safety Executive). Depending on how big the issue is they'll either write to your boss informing her/him of the issue or they could make a "surprise" visit to the salon.

Beauty salons are overseen by two agencies: If it is a sanitary issue, or something related to the physical shop, you want to contact your town's Health Dept. Barbers and hairdressers are licensed by the state, so if the problem is with a stylist you want to call the state board that deals with Beauticians and Barbers.

If the management of the establishment won't fix the problem then I would suggest the county Health Department. Or OSHA, depending upon the nature of the problem.
