im a 17 year old boy,mom is going to send me to a strict religious boarding school for acting bad lately, im scared i don't know what to expect, i heard they punish u alot, even spank you, is that true? my mom is sending me to a practically all girls boarding school, they take a handful of guys every year, but she knows the headmistress so im automatically getting in, and im scared, they're saying im going to have to take activity class, thats mandatory, ballet, gymnastics, all girl stuff,ill even have to apply to there same uniform code in ballet and even in class, i cant wear girl stuff, how embarrassing! will they really spank you here, what else do they do? what is ballet like and the stuff u have to wear? what are the uniforms like in class? im scared hopefully someone will be able to awnser my questions! thanks!

I don't know what you've done in your past for your Mom to fell that she has to send you to this "strict" boarding school. Have you looked it up on the Internet, or on Classmates.com? Don't belittle gymnastics and ballet. Many football players take ballet, and gymnastics is for strenghening. You learn balance and composure under stress. Watch the movie "Fame", you will see how actors in the School of Performing Arts were regular kids, with real problems, going after the same things. Don't worry about the tights; When I was in training, we bought purple tights for the guys (they were about 20ish to 40ish), to dress up in garbage bags, to be the "Raisons" in an old commercial. They all got together, put on the costume, and headed over to us. Remember, we were all working professionals, in training. It was Halloween, but, we still went to the office, and did a routine ("Heard it Through the Grapevine"), which was quite a hit. Your experience will be what you make of it. Treat it with an open mind, that you will take the positives, learn the most, and make a better person of yourself. You can do it. Look at my website about sensory integration. If everyone else is wearing the same stuff, you will fit right in, keep that in mind.
Calm down, take a deep breath, and know that things will improve. Perhaps the separation from your family will be good, and your relationships with them will change for the better. Both sides may gain a deeper understanding of each other. Good luck and God Bless you in your future endeavors! :)

Does the school have a website? Check it out.
Nobody can or will make you wear girls clothes. You could after just refuse to wear them (if they really are girls clothes). In Ballet, the men and women wear different clothes.)
No one can spank you at 17. Just behave and if someone wants to spank you, tell them in a respectful way, "With all due respect sir, I will not allow you to hit me and if you do, I will have no choice but to call the police." The charge would be assault and battery.
My parent took me out of the public school system and put me in a private co ed school when I was in 9th grade. I was against the idea (leaving all of my friends, etc.) but now I know it was the best thing. I met a lot of new friends, and was better prepared for university studies.
Don't panic. Perhaps your mom is making this decision as a way of trying to help you. It you have to go... go. It's only 1 year. You may meet some new friends, Learn a lot, meet your future wife... who knows. Just enjoy life as it is. Give it a year. If it is too terrible after that, quit, get a GED if you still have not graduated, go to college, be all that you can be and fulfill your dreams.

Get a grip! Don't worry about anything until you see what it is like. They won't make you wear girl stuff. Learn from the experience. Being one of a few boys at a mostly girls school is going to make you really popular. Look at the good side.

i am sure you'll wear a men's leotard (ballet uniform) they can't make you wear girls clothes thats redicilious. but kudos to your mom maybe you have thought of behaving before now it's to late you have only your self to blame, as for spanking yes they can do that and if u step out of line they will so maybe u should try to behave for once. most boarding school uniforms are button down shirts tucked in with brown or blue dress pants ..maybe you should try to make the best of it maybe iit'll change your life for the better

Make a new start,, try being polite,, gentleman,, behave well,, make your parent proud of you..

it all depends on the school as far as the uniforms go.. and i highly doubt that they will spank you. but dont u think its a little too late to be worrying about it now, after all u could have changed ur behaviour before ur mom was forced to take such drastic measures.

At 18 you can walk out of the door. Even now, they would have trouble stopping you.
On the other hand, it may make you buckle down, and pulling should be easy.
