YES you can! rose water is not oily...its has the consistency of just plain old water, so you're fine. also rosewater is an excellent moisturizer!! and it makes your face smell WONDERFUL!

Yes! Rosewater is wonderful for those who have sensitive or mature skin. It is a great astringent and is a great healer. I adore Rose Otto in the bath so I'm sure it would be great in the facial steamer.

Some essential oils might be really strong to inhale, they are not recommended even to put directly on skin unless they're diluted, however oil could be applied to the face. The good ones - sweet almond, flaxseed, and rose hip - will never clog pores. They are healing ingredients that balance and nourish the skin.

I think rosewater sounds nice. I would think it would be safe to add a small amount of a natural floral. Read the ingrediants in the rosewater to make sure it doesn't contain anything toxic to breathe.

Rosewater is fine....it's just a diluted attar so it won't do any damage. In fact is smells nice.
