What colors do you mix to make indigo using paint?

A color ranging from a deep violet blue to a dark, grayish blue.

I would say add some purple (which is blue and red mixed) small amount of black and your primary color BLUE..........

I wouldn't suggest yellow unless you want a green tint to it.

blue and red for purple then i'd put either white or black depending on the shade of indigo or both.

indigo is very rich blue. It depends on what colors you already have. I would use blue and black. (very little black)

blue and a little red. indigo is between violet and blue, so not much red.
