Natural flavours are better for you than synthetic ones! Natural flavours come from the food not chemical so they are no more damaging than eating the food itself;

The term Natural Flavors that you see on the ingredient listing on foods you buy is a way manufacturers were able to convince FDA to allow them to use this term instead of what it really is. Natural Flavors is a term used for Monosodium Glutamate. This chemical is not natural in any sense of the word and it is not good for you. It has been shown to cause lessions in brain tissue and it's purpose is to trick your brain in to believing you are eating things that have a nutty flavor. It is used a lot in chinese foods to trick your brain to believe the food has more flavor.
Do not eat anything with this in it. It is not good for you.
The FDA and the EPA are headed by ex-executives from the MONSANTO Corporation and policies that have been produced from these organizations that is supposed to protect the public has been swayed heavily toward the manufacturers, not the public best health interests. To verify this, just look at how Monsanto has been able to patent life, by genetically altering seeds they produce and get them listed as safe by the FDA so they don't have to disclose this to the public!

It's not necessarily bad. A natural flavoring could be anything from vanilla extract to citric acid. I would be more worried about artificial flavorings, but I do wish we could get food manufacturers to specify what natural flavor they put in their products. :)

Natural flavors are not bad for you it is the unnatural flavors that are bad for you. the natural flavors, are made from natural things. Natural strawberry flavors come from strawberries. Unnatural stawberry flavors come from chemicals made to taste like stawberries.

natural flavors can be anything.. from msg (which can be made "naturally" but is still bad for u), beaver anus (castoreum) and/or actual natural ingredients... it is a blanket term to not actually list all the ingredients. and the word "natural" means nothing at all.. technically everything comes from nature.
