Was it really hard for him? Did he cry a lot and have those awful headaches, feelings of despair, and did he feel like giving up?

I know he suffered physically but I was wondering if he suffered spiritually...if you know what that means.

He felt pain as a man and he suffered alot he got wipped and then hung. And then if that wasn't already bad enough he ultimetly died of asphyxiation. Yea, I'd say he had it pretty bad. He was in utter despair, yes he suffered spiritually. It was the first time he had ever been seperated from the Father.

Sometimes I wonder what if God didn't come down and suffer and die for us.We would be grumbling against Him and saying "its ok for You ,You only sit on your Heavenly throne ,have you any idea what it is to suffer ?Now that He has gone through it all,we can't ,Because what can we worse than the lashing, the crowning with thorns the falls and the crucifixion and also the anguish? If falling once was bad why three times?

Jesus was so distressed he sweated blood! He knew not only the physical suffering he would endure which was foretold in scripture he would be spit on and mocked, he was beaten with whips that had pieces of glass in it. So his back was like hamburger. But he also had the sins of ALL the world on him. What that was like I don't know. The sins on him were so grotesque that God the father could not look upon him. This is why he called out, "Father father why have you abandoned me?"
He came from a place where there was great love, peace, and comfort to a world where even though he loved them greatly they rejected him, teased him, mocked him and killed him. I can only imagine his torment. He knew what was to come, this is why he asked God to "take this cup from me" but he then added "not my will Father but your will".
Thank you Jesus.

Yes He suffered, He bled, He cried out, He took on the sins of the WORLD and He did it for...ALL OF US. He took the pain and our sins so we would have eternal life in Him. There is only one way to the Father, through Jesus Christ. Did He suffer spiritually? He cried out, Father, why have you forsaken me?

Jesus was 100 percent human and 100 percent God. So, yes, being human, he suffered great pain. But, being God, he also knew this would mean the salvation of his people.

To be human is to suffer for much of our lives. If Jesus was human, I have no doubt he suffered immensely.

No, not at all He was just tortured, whipped, beat on, spat on, ridicules, had thorns thrust into His head while bleeding He had to carry his own cross, then have nails driven into Him and die a very slow death.I do not think Tylenol would have helped.

I believe he did suffer emotionally because of mans injustice to man.

"Oh Lord, why have you forsaken me?"

Yes. But he knew that the victory was coming!!!

Woot!

In response to your details:

Of COURSE!

Bearing the wrath of God for every sin man has ever commited is a SERIOUS spiritual burden!
