I understand that you have to have energy, but why not just from carbs and protein (as long as you get vitamins)?

Because naturally occuring vitamins and minerals are better for you, and more readily absorbed by the body, than those you take in pill form. Fruits and veggies have many of those natural things our bodies need and this comes from long ago when humans hunted and forged for food and didn't have supermarkets and pharmacies.

Now many people find it easier to eat what they want (no matter how unhealthy) and take a pill to get their required vitamins and such...but that isn't the same as eating healthy and getting those things the better way (naturally).

Because of the naturally occuring vitamins and minerals. Some veggies are high in iron and calcium, but do not have the fats and cholesterol associated with animal products.

Veggies and fruit are high in fiber, something that is definately lacking in the average American diet. They are also low in calories and leave you feeling full.

If you are eating a balanced diet, then supplimental vitamins are completely unnecessary.

Vitamins! Your body can't digest vitamins in their pure form (pills, etc.). They only can be digested with vegetables and fruits.

In the superstore, fruits are usually chosen much too soon. Some are rocks, many are bitter. Some of the fruit and vegetables are right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.

well thats whats gonna happen in the future!!!
Ppl will eat just tablets of the vitamins and or minerals their body needs and there would be no need to eat!!!

They have the right vitamins and nutrients (all natural) that your body needs. And most importantly anti-oxidants which help fight certain illnesses, ie cancer.

Because they are all natural and don't have any addiitives or preservatives in them. Lots of vitamis.
