I had luck with South Beach. But when I went off of it, I gained the weight back, plus 10 pounds.
I have recently started weight watchers and think that is the way to go.

Good Luck!

Yes actually. I lost 35 lbs on it in late 2005, but it was the diet from hell for me because carbs were my friends.

It's not very healthy and not at all a good plan to stay on long term. Better to eat a balanced diet and lose weight a little slower than go on a gimmick diet and drop the weight fast. I put back on 20 of those lbs last year and am now taking them back off the "right way" (eating sensibly - no particular diet plan).

Here's a site that's good info. I read it before I got on Atkins and went on the diet anyway. I feel that being informed is best, then we can make our own decisions on whether or not to take the risk. http://www.atkinsexposed.org/

Don't do that Atkins diet. You loose weight fast, but the diet is not sustainable. You don't get the nutrients you need. Most people who go on that diet end up gaining the weight back and then some. Weight Watchers or LA Weightloss is a better program.
