A few days ago at the diner table of a neighbor's house, my girlfriend denied I was her boyfriend to a 12 year old kid because she didn't want the neighbor's finding out that we were boyfriend / girlfriend. "The neighbor's joke around a lot with stuff like that" she told me. The kid asked "Is he your boyfriend?" and she replied "NOoooo". We love each other, but I'm mad. I'm so pissed.
I haven't called her or spoken to her since Friday. It has been almost 3 days now. Am I being to hard on her? Should I call? Thanks

I would call her and tell her that it really Hurt you that she said NO you're not her boyfriend. I dont get about the neighbours finding out it's not like you both are 12yrs old.
Communication is the "key" to a good relationship as well as Honesty* Let her know how you feeel, talk it out. Playing the "silent" game isn't good* It's immature and never solves anything as no one is speaking....then tends to get worse as time goes on ....it's been 3days....Pick up the phone, call your g/friend of the past 11months and Talk* to her*

This is tough, I guess you have a right to be mad. I mean if you are g/f b/f than why would she do that to you? but on the other hand, I mean its a twelve year old kid. So what does it matter right? I mean as long as you know she is your g/f and she knows that you are her b/f that is all that matters right?

You are not being too hard on her. She is being insensitive and immature. She owes you an apology. If she can't be grown up enough to tell people you're her boyfriend without being able to handle their reactions, move on and find someone more deserving of you.

You will now see how much she really cares about you. All though you might of been a little rough. You should now speak to her, and try to reach a compromise. If you love her, you shouldn't let things like this get in your way.

how old are you first of all? this sounds like an unecessary fight if you ask me. she already told you they joke around, you wouldnt know because youre not her neighbor and havent been her neighbor, so you need to grow up and apologize for acting like a jerk to her. i really hope youre like 15 or something because otherwise youre really immature.

I would not have liked it either. I would wait for her to call me or either call her up and question her what her true motive is/was for not wanting people to know that you are in a relationship.

Yeah man you're over-reacting. It's not like she said it cause she was embarrassed of YOU, she said it cause she was embarrassed of being in a relationship...i guess.
