He's 10 and got his first funky hair cut yesterday and went a bit mad with the wax this morning! We've washed it 5 times and even used washing p liquid but it still feels waxy!
Any ideas? thanks in advance.

After trying everything above I think the last option would to either cover the hair with white spirit! Just kidding :-). Try using a nit comb or something with very thin bristles, all through the hair. This should get clumps of it out - then use shampoo and then conditioner afterwards. Wax is awful, try using putty sort of stuff, by Shockwave, or some of the fructis range. Gels or gums/putty's are all easy to wash out. I have had many nightmares with Wax! Urggh!
Good luck :-)

if the styling wax is still there after a usual watch with shampoo and conditioner, try putting the shampoo on dry hair then washing out this stops the shampoo from being diluted and lifts most products and dirt out of the hair.

Use regular shampoo and scrub his head, run your fingers through his hair and than wash it out. You'll probably want to do that again with conditioner. Blow dry it so you know for sure if there's wax left or not.

it takes way to long to do and never works the way you will want it, if you see him in reall life his hair is all over the place but since its a movie its always perfect. but i did my hair similiar to it first you need hair to atleast your eyebrows for his style then its best to do it up after a shower before bed so when you wake up your hair is naturally standing up then use fibre or wax alot of it with damp hair it will take time but i just used his hair as an idea for mine and never tried to duplicate it.

Try diluting some alcohol & appling it to his hair, then re-shampooing in & probably best if you apply the wax next time LOL

Ok in the salon we would apply a generous amount of shampoo to dry hair and really work it in, then rinse and shampoo as you normally would.....

This should do the trick

Good Luck

You could twist his hair up and use him for a candle ,, No, just kidding, you may have to put the clippers to it and go down to the scalp. One thing about it, his head will be water proof.
