gone to butterflies everyone...when will they ever learn?

I thought that until last year, when I saw one of those brown hairy ones in Sainsbury's car park of all places!

My honest answer to your question is this - we're all adults now, and therefore probably don't spend and time LOOKING for them, as we used to. I think they're still there!

I haven't seen the caterpillars for years either. Maybe they committed ritual suicide.

just take a look on my cabbages every summer. there are thousands. you must be blind as catarpillers are everywhere. They hang around in winter in their husks and come out in the spring, Look closely they are there.....
