It usually takes three to four days, but by then it's too late: you are already marked for death and have passed it to your family.

Many people use the term "stomach flu" to describe illnesses with nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. These symptoms can be caused by many different viruses, bacteria or even parasites. While vomiting, diarrhea, and being nauseous or "sick to your stomach" can sometimes be related to the flu – more commonly in children than adults – these problems are rarely the main symptoms of influenza. The flu is a respiratory disease and not a stomach or intestinal disease. If you're still feeling well within 5-7 days of exposure, most likely it's not a "flu" virus your friend has. See the link below for further information.

This is tricky question. But the answer is quiet simple . It all depends how strong is your immune system, and how resistant you are to that particular flu virus. One must consider as well if one is exposed or not to certain conditions. There is one thing for sure there are many viruses out there that we do not know anything about Normally the symptoms show after three days, by the way you still have a dormant virus up to three days or so after you think that you have recuperated, but after when you are completely OK it admits defeat

One to five days, depending on your immune system and what strain of the virus you've contracted.

It can be as soon as 24 hours, and up to 48 hours. It's annoying, as there's not a whole lot you can do for it, except wait it out. ~~~
