If she is staying in a hotel, send room service up one morning with breakfast. Buy something special to put under her pillow when she gets back.
Finish a project that she really wanted done as a surprise.
Have her favorite breakfast, lunch or dinner waiting for her when she returns.
Call her up daily to tell her how much she is missed and loved. :-) Also, you might tell her that she is one blessed lady that her husband is actually thinking about these things. *G*

feed the cat, walk the dog, bring the kids home from school. Take her parents to dinner. Have a beautiful meal ready on her return. Do the laundry, clean the house, and dishes. Wash her car. Buy her flowers.

If you own your own home, She's been wanting something done to it. Paint a room, fix the deck. Replace that broken over the range microwave she's been bitching about and you've been ignoring.
And have a new set of 600 thread count sheets on the bed waiting for her to help you break them in.

well, speaking on what i like, you should have the house clean until she gets back, maybe send her flowers depending on where and how long, and when she gets back, have a trail of rose pedals leading upstairs to the bath tub, and a nice hot bath waiting for her, with drinks and candles and insents, and depending on how sexually active yall are, join her, or lead the rose pedals to the bed...or just make dinner for her..sometimes its the sweet things little things that make it better

I love it when i go away and when i get back my husband has all the little jobs i do done -cleaning,washing etc. also, i always miss him so its brilliant when he has something planned!
