Infinitely far away because sky eventually becomes space at about 5 miles up, and then you have the rest of the universe to keep going farther and farther away. Amazing, isn't it?

Phil needs to do his research. now you need to do yours to. I believe that it is the exoshpere but I do not know the exact Heigth it reaches I know that it is one of the thinest layers but it is the outer most layer in the Atmoshpere there for the Tallest by shear distance from the surface of the earth... The Tallest is the stratosphere. with the troposhpere coming in second by shere distance that it covers.
