How long is left over chilli good for in the fridge? I don't want to die and it was cooked Thursday and today is Sunday!

Dont eat it you'll get herpes... well, according to me lol I dont know, but you know, I hate eating leftovers, Im scared I'l catch something. I know itr is retarded, its all in my head, so maybe you can still eat it.

Depends what you put in it. If you used canned tomato paste or sauce that is a natural preservative. Probable up to 2 weeks or until you see mold forming. Chili was created in a Texas jail...when their meat was going bad and starting to smell. They chopped it up and added spices so the inmates will not know the meat was bad. Everybody loved it and ask for seconds.

if it's cooked and refrigerated it should be good for 5 days,want to do something different with it ? mix with mac and cheddar cheese for a tasty chili mac.
(you can also freeze leftover chili well and it will last 2-3 months)

Three days is fine. I usually make a huge pot of chili so we can also have it over baked potatoes, chili dogs, and spaghetti sauce after we're tired of just chili. It's okay today, but that's it.

As long as you let it cool before you put it in the fridge and covered it good,I would keep it for 5 days.Then my dog gets it.

it'll last about a week in the fridge but it will last FOREVER in the freezer.

it should still be good but im not i don't know if i would eat it i would only eat it if it was like a day old.
