winterfest?

everones got a date for winterfest- and i mean ALL of my friends got dates. but my bf lives 4 hours away and his parents wont let him come to my winterfest. do i not go, go w/out a date, i dont want to find another date cause i mean i have a bf, but should i?
any advice
