I have a friend who visited Amish people who attacked a girl with stones, for taking a photgraph of them!!

I don't know if any of them use this site. But things are changing now. I know they at least understand the economics of modern day convenience.

They now travel by bus and drive hours to set up shops three and one half days for comparable profit margin. They may not call it mingling with the society, but they are more and more joining the crowd.

I doubt it, since Amish people live without electricity.
