i am getting a yorkie soon
i have 2 other cats and i am in middle school.
so will a yorkie be good to have right now?
since i wont be home sometimes and i have cats

Yorkies are great pets, but they need a lot of attention when they are young. The 8 hours you are in school are probably too long for the little one to stay in a crate alone. You definately need to ask your parents, the yorkie will love them just as much as she loves you! When my parents are around, my yorkie couldn't care if i was in the room! hopefully, a parent can come home at lunch and visit the little guy. Also, think about getting an adult yorkie. They are cheaper and always need good homes. But they have calmed down from the puppy stage!

Yes yorkies r very good pets. U might also need 2 talk 2 ur parents about it. They need xtra attention though. I have a yorkie and she can feel very lonely at times. They r very qt dogs.

yeah yorkies are really good pets, it might have to get use to your cats but depending on its age it shouldn't take very long. if it does try to get close to your cats dont get to worried because the dog will learn to keeps its distance or just be nice and not get in their way.

well i have a yorkie and he's pretty good in the house. he always goes to the door and scratch at it if he needs to go use the bathroom.i also had a cat and my dog and they tried to make a catdog. lol wow. but that was like 3 years ago. yorkies are so adorable. me and my both sisters felt in love with him. we had him since I was like 3. that's about 13 years. he actually got ran over like 3 times and he's still here.

Yorkies are companion pets. If you are not going to be home to take care of it, I would not suggest a yorkie. They loved to be around their people. They dont' like isolation.

yorkies are marvelous pets, but they require a bit more time and attention than do cats...hold off on the yorkie till you are atleast 50.

Since your in middle school you should talk to your parents about it, they will probably be taking care of the dog as well, since you will be in school. But i think they make good pets. I know someone who has one that loves cats. They are small and cute and friendly. They just have a lot of energy and need to be groomed often. But if you guys can handle that, then i think they make great pets.

yorkies won't stand a chance with two cats.......cats are much bigger and can harm the verry little dog

I used to have one and they make great company. But definitely tlak to your parents, because my mother ended up taking care of her most of the time.
