how do you convince someone to throw away stuff they dont need if they dont want to? i have someone in my family who has alot of stuff. i mean alot of stuff that goes to the ceiling seriously. i try to help throw stuff away everyday but she doesnt let me can anyone please help me???i would really appreciate it.

The only way is to get the person to unload the clutter is to have them realize it may be hindering their quality of life. There are lots of shows on tv that feature others in similar positions. In Canada we have "Neat" on HGTV. There's a US show on TLC where they clean out and redo two rooms of the owners house (they garage sale all the junk), and the UK has "How Clean is Your House?" but its pretty extreme. Maybe watching one of those shows together might engage you both in a discussion. You should see how happy people are after unloading all their stuff. Maybe she might get inspired.

Some people r just hoarders she needs to see that she has a problem just keep trying to throw stuff out she might wake up adventurally.

well, give her a certin time oo get rid of all the stuff, and if she doesn't then.. when she leaves the house then just clean everything yourself, or if she doesn't want to throw everything away, get some boxes and put the un needed stuff in there..maybe that would help <3.

you can't convince someone to throw away things that you don't want them to have at all,how would you like it if someone told you to get rid of things that you have,what would you tell them.
