me and my boyfriend only have 1 class together and alot of ppl say that we look good together and that we look cute but i wish he would be more affectionate with me her never holds my hand or puts his arm around me?? is it becuase hes embarrassed?? he really is a gentleman he lets me go into the room first and he lets me go into rooms frist when i open them (im 13) what do you think

allso for christ mas he got me choclates and perfume and i got hima giftcertificate to the movies becuase he LOVES goingt othe movies except that we've only been once and uhmm we've been going out for 2 1/2 months now and we r like stangers and my friends at luch are like go and talk to him go and they act like 3 yr olds and they try and push me towards him but its just im just real shy and his friends annoy me when im in class without chris and they are talking to me so its weird..

u just brought my ex to mind... i think i`m gonna cry!..... well, wat happened to us, we only saw each other 2 times a day, and we grew apart. he did the same- he wants 2 b around all the time, rite?- and it got to the point where we just didn`t talk because we didn`t have classes together, and our friends were different, so we just called it off, and everyone wants says we`re the cutest ppl to be toheth, but- see how it goes. he`s not embarrassed! he probably thinks he doesn`t know u enof, so try to get together more, and learn about each other- no excusse me- im going to call my ex, see wats up...

from experience hes only probably shy and he doesnt want to make u think something of him or get the wrong empression.... he might just not know how far that ur willing to go...I think that u should just talk to him about it or go up and hugg him sometime in a playful way just to see what his reaction would be!

My initial response is that not all guys are all about PDA and it has nothing to do with him being embarrassed. Newsflash: You're 13. Get focused on SCHOOL and hangin with your girls. You have PLENTY of time for boys when you're a little older. Seriously, that's not what you should be concentrating on at this point.

im 14 and i know because i had the same problem thier sometimes shy to do stuff like that in front of everybody they might be more comfortable if u do all of that while theres no one out looking at you 2. good luck

Everyone is different about displays of affection...especially in public. It usually comes from how the family is towards each other. If they are not touchy-feely, then he probably isn't either. You have to ask yourself how does he show his affection? Are there other ways (like opening your door, helping you with your coat, etc...)?

i'm 13 too. um.just tell him that he needs to show you some affection or u guys aren't right for each other. trust me..it works. i did that to my boyfriend and we've been going out for 7 months now. just try to spend some alone time togther and see how he is then. good luck!

Seems like he likes you a lot is a gentleman to you but you're only 13, he doesn't seem to be ready to be doing this yet. Give him some time.

most likely he is just shy because at that age i don't think he thinks he has to stay with you and if he was embarrassed he would deffinally break it off because boys that age are really self cautious

hes probably just shy honey,why dont you try putting your arm around him instead, he just needs teaching,just remember you both just learning,it will come in time.
