dress smartly in your normal clothes, if its fancy dress you just need a prop or two. It seems as if everyone has the same idea, the gangster/mafia guy, so go with the stereotype but make it easy, just borrow or hire a violin case....the suggestion is all you need.(and less messy than a horses head!)
