The Bible states that God is "the same yesterday, today, and forever."
God does not change, but God will change people.
In the Bible, the account of Saul, in the New Testament, tells that he started out as one who killed followers of Jesus Christ. But one day he had an encounter with the Angel of God. As a result, Saul's heart and attitude completely changed, God told him that he was to be known by the name of Paul, and he became one of the main writers of the books of the New Testament.

Yes, we're changing so that we don't need superstitious beliefs like god.

Man is also the only one trying to figure out who we are, where we came from, and why we're here. "God" doesn't have to change, religion doesn't have to evolve, it doesn't move along with the times, it stays stuck in the Dark Ages and gets more OBSOLETE with every passing decade. I hope this trend continues right on to extinction.
