It depends on the type of surgery, duration of the procedure and where you are having it done.
Costs include:
Surgeon's professional fee
Anesthesiologist's professional fee
Maybe a surgical assistant's professional fee (if it's a big surgery)
OR facility fee (surgicenters may cost less than hospitals)
Costs of OR supplies
Preoperative testing (if needed) costs
Hospital room (if not outpatient)
Medications while in the hospital (if not outpatient)
Most of the time, cosmetic surgeons will lump everything together and give you a bottom line price that includes everything.
It can range from a few thousand dollars to hundreds of thousands (if you're getting a heart transplant, for example)

Like everyone above said, it all depends on what kind of surgery. I had a cervical diskectomy with bone fusion and metal plate and screws, was in the hospital for 2 days and the cost (US) was over $60,000.

It absolutely depends on what kind of surgery; difficult surgery like heart transplants, spinal surgery, and the like can be very expensive, and elective (not necessary) surgery is also on the expensive side.
Hope this helps...

Depends on what kind of surgery.
Or whether it is biopsy or an actual surgery.
For example, tonsils would cost less than open heart.

The price varies on what is getting done, if its cosmetic or medical. The best thing to do is to consult this with a doctor.

Figure about $5000 per inch. The deeper they cut the more it costs.
