around 10 mins ago, im having homemade chips with my tea!! yummy!! especially when you make a chip butty with loads of butter on it so that when the chips are on it it all oozes down your hand! scrumdidlyumptious!!!

I work in a nursing home as a cook so average for me is about 2 or 3 50 pound bags a shift!In a potato machine not by hand!At home probably a week ago!

I never peel them, I have a husband for that. I just asked him and he said last Tuesday. We haven't been peeling them much lately, just buying them and then they go off in the cupboard. Once a whole bag went off in the cupboard and we didn't realise and then little flies appeared everywhere as they had somehow all grown from the mouldy potatoes. Weird.

LOL great minds think alike...i thought this was a euphamism for something else.
I last peeled a potato months ago, probably in November...i like the skins so usually leave them on.

I peeled potatoes yesterday to make my dinner. Though I only eat potatoes once a week. I prefer rice and pasta to be honest.

Hi, I'm bored too, so...
I never peel potatoes:
firstly- there's a lot of goodness in potato skins so it's better not to,
secondly- why waste time?
thirdly- they taste better with the skin on (in my opinion that is)

I tend to cook with the skins on now. Havent peeled a potato for ages. My girlf peeled loads for New Years Eve, if that's any good to you? (I was battering mushrooms and brie)

Well I did on Christmas day.... lots! I don't tend to peel them unless I am doing roasted potatoes or mashed.... leaving the skins on is good!
