This is going to sound really silly, but nothing calms me when I'm oober stressed like Natural Brew root beer (doesn't have caffine). I guess it's mix of spices in it and the fact that it raises my blood sugar. That's another thing, when I realize that I'm irrationally stressed, it's usually because I'm hungry, so don't skip meals. It's also good to always keep some jello (the real stuff, not w/ splenda) or even a jolly rancher, something relatively low cal, around for when I get cranky.

By the way, you can get green tea without caffine.

St Johns Wart is what people generaly say, but it depends on the severity of the illness and if it is chemical you are not going to get help from this herbal remedy

Green Tea has caffine in it, caffine is a no no with anxiety.

herbal remedies will help to cure the symptoms but the important question is what cause the anxiety??

Valeriana, passiflora are ok, taking large dose of magnesium can help as well. I will advise exercising , eating right and thinking positively with some yoga breathing.

Joe.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

For anxiety, valerian or passionflower. Lavender oil in olive oil is calming. Also think about getting a magnesium supplement.
