I want it to be reasonable as we are having another baby this summer. We live in CA and would like to go somewhere...different and warm. Probably in May. Where would you suggest?

Take a 5 day cruise out of LA. They are a lot of fun and a great value. Plus they are all you can eat, the perfect thing for a pregnant woman. My wife and I went o na cruise when she was 4-5 months pregnant, which is ideal because she wasn' tired all the time, and not self-conscious about her size yet.

It's a bit of a distance but Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, Australia is my recommendation. May would be a great time as the wet season is over and the humidity in the tropics is at its lowest. You'd fly into Cairns International Airport and travel time is about 45mins via a shuttle to Port Douglas which has accommodation ranging from exclusive 5 star resorts to backpackers. It's the gate way to the Great Barrier Reef without being as hectic as Cairns which is great but a haven for backpackers.
