You need a lighter, heavier cream to use as concealer and cover dark circles. Foundation alone will not do the trick. There are a lot of different products; some are yellowish or green to cover up. Its really hit or miss with what wroks on your skin. you may want to go to a palce like Sephora where you can test different brands, and see what works. I like philosophy which comes with three shades to blend. I have friends who like Boiing by Benefit.

Yes! If you use bottled foundation, try using a little bit of the foundation in the lid. This is thicker than the foundation in the bottle because it gets more exposure to the air so it dries out a bit. The thicker consistency will better cover the under eye circles and will also be a perfect match for your foundation.
Later, try out some of the concealers on the market. There are some really great concealers available from Max Factor, Clinique and Prescriptives and Yves St. Laurent. Consistency is a personal preference, but I highly recommend Camouflage Cream from Prescriptives.
If you're not near a department store to test them for yourself, try signing up for a free account at makeupalley.com. There are tons of product reviews there and message boards where you can get lots of practical advice.
Good luck!

Yes, you can use a foundation as a concealer. The foundation that gathers on the cap of the bottle is typically thicker and works great as a matching concealer. There's nothing worse than walking around with LIGHTER spots on your face when you use a lighter colored concealer. As far as dark circles, get more Vitamin K and Vitamin C in your diet. Also, if you have sinus problems, get those checked because it can lead to bad dark circles. Sometimes good old heredity can also cause dark circles.

yeah you can, but I would suggest a make up stick. its like fondation only in a stick form. Get a shad one lighter then your normal fondation and apply under the eye.
This should make the under eye appear more firm and gets rid of dark circles. when you do your eye liner, do just the corner, and maybe a centimeester in on the bottom, This draws attention away from the lower eye. Whne applying eyeshadow put just a little bit of neutral collor on the underneath that will lift your face.
Good Luck

Sorry people but getting enough sleep doesn't always work.. I tried so many things.. then I went to a clinique booth and got "all about eyes" in like a week you have NO circles or bags.. it's like 27 bucks though =/but completely worth it and it lasts forever.

Eat healthy, get enough rest and use cucumber slices on your eyes. Drink plenty of water - cut down on caffeine. No foundation required ..

Try using hemorrhoid cream, or some cortisone cream (sometimes used in an anti-itch cream) and rub it under your eyes overnight. It works for me!

I HAVE TRIED THIS BEFORE, AND IT WORKS WONDERS. AND CELBERITIES DO THIS ALL THE TIME. AND I ALSO SAW IT ON TV. YOU CUT THIN SLICES OF RAW POTATO AND JUST PUT IT ON YOUR EYES FOR ABOUT 10 MIN. THE POTASSIUM HELPS SOFTEN AND RID THE BLACK CIRCLES.
