She did not only believe that Jesus was her personal Saviour, she gave all of her life to Him.

Anyone to whom God has granted repentance and faith will be in heaven.

If Mother Teresa, or anyone else for that matter, did all her good works (of which there were many) in order to go to heaven, she is now in hell. I base my belief on the following verses of Scripture:

Ephesians 2:8-10 (New American Standard Bible)
New American Standard Bible (NASB)

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."

The real question is, "Do you think that YOU will be in heaven?"

I believe that she tried to be the best person she could. I think that should get her a ticket to heaven but I assume that she would also have believed and "accepted Jesus as her personal savior" or whatever she is "supposed" to do to get into heaven. I would guess whe would go to Heaven if it exists.

Jesus said You will know them by their fruits. He is the tree we are the branches. Mother Teresa was a testimony to God's love.
I think she's up there standing with the best of them.

If Mother Teresa is not in Heaven, then we are in trouble.

That would be between her and the Lord.

The bible states that if she confessed to God that Jesus Christ was born of flesh and died on the cross at calvary to pay her sin debt, she is saved.

Now , the Catholic church does not teach this and most catholics never read the bible for themselves, but that does not mean that a catholic person cannot read it and do this themselves. That is the beauty of the system that God put into place, no extra rules and regulations, come to God and trust in him completely, with no middle men or women.

"Mother Teresa of Calcutta actually said, in her speech accepting the Nobel Peace Prize, 'The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion.' What? How can a woman with such cock-eyed judgement be taken seriously on any topic, let alone be thought seriously worthy of a Nobel Prize? Anybody tempted to be taken in by the sanctimoniously hypocritical Mother Teresa should read Christopher Hitchens's book The Missionary Position: Mother Teresa in Theory and Practice."

Edit:It's funny Y!A censored part of the expression "****-eyed"

Probably not. She did not know or teach the truth of The Salvation Message... and her orginization was not really all that much. It was more media hype and good PC PR. There is a lot (millions)of dollar not accounted for by her orginization. a great many in the areas where she suposadly was doing so much good testify that there was very little actualy done.

Salvation is a condition of the heart, a personal belief and relationship with God, thus, I have no idea.

But my guess is that she is.

At any rate, I've got my ticket to heaven.
