cut out breads, pasta, carbs - and EXERCISE!!! I can cut my calorie intake and lose weight very slowly, but if I exercise and get my metabolism going, the fat melts off!

You know most people will tell you to go run a several miles, or just do lots of cardio and diet right, well there right in the way of dieting and it depends on what they mean cardio. Cardio - is like running hills. All depends on what they mean, to me Running several miles is good dont get me wrong but there is something better you could do to burn twive the fat, all you have to do is Sprint. Do sprinting drills, or even sprint a mile, Do hill sprints up and down, this will reduce the extra flab or punds right away just like that, you will see results in the first month because i have, and im going to do track for 8th grade so i am sprinting a lot for track and to lose flab, but thats the key, only take a hour or so.. dont do hours of long distance. Do tempo runs, like say you got a small field Sprint around that 5 times without stopping, or sprint around it for 5 min..etc. I hope this helps man. Peace. :)

Train Hard. Matthew

Each pound you need to lose will require approx. 3,500 calories. That means you have to eat 3,500 calories less than you do now, or exercise 3,500 calories more. Typically a combination of the two works best for people. Cutting back on most fat foods is the easiest way to eliminate a lot of calories quickly. Running or Swimming are also very high calorie burning exercises. If you jogged for one hour every day and ate 500 calories less everyday you'd lose about 2 pounds every week that you did this.

Lots of protein, cut out the carbs (bread, rice, potatoes, etc.), exercise about an hour a day (aerobic), drink plenty of water and take a multivitamin. NO JUNK FOOD!

just an addition to whats covered already
Carbs are good, you need them for energy, without them you won't have the energy needed to exercise to burn off that fat. but in saying that don't over do them. you will also need to take in some decent protein to help with muscle recovery.
Try interval training (in reference to the sprinting comment)
This really works your Phosphate and lactate systems and finish it off with a decent length run which will work ur aerobic system.
it's hard for most people to push themselves really hard throughout a workout so consider getting a friend to do it with you or just to push you through it, otherwise a PT might be worthwhile.

Your best bet is a reasonable exercise program and diet control.Try 4 oz. of lean protein and 12to15 oz. of carbs(fruit, veggies),no pasta,no bread,no junk.Do this 3 times per day.You will be amazed.

losing significant amounts of weight too soon is as dangerous as being overweight. your goal should be to lose as much weight as you safely can to be in your optimal weight. check with your doc for a safe work out program and get started eating healthy. breakfast as often as possible, cut out the crap and plenty of grain, raw veggies and fruit. peace!

Doing it fast isn't always the best. Do it safely. Eat properly and exercise. See your doctor for a good diet plan. Make sure you're healthy enough for the exercise plan you have in mind.
You can do it!!!
