Everyone believes in something. The only difference is some choose to believe in fantasy while others stick to believing in what is REAL!!

Are you getting your quote from the Bible or the Declaration of Independence?
I kind of see what you're getting at. People are, for the most part, equal in terms of being human. The only thing that distinguishes a Christian from everyone else is that they've accepted Jesus as their savior. Which, they believe, brings them into a position to have a relationship with God. According to the Bible, this is the only way to achieve this. Does it make them any better than anyone else? No... It allows them to be in a covenant with God that says He will provide everything they need and that they will serve Him for the rest of their lives. Now, the most important thing is that when they die, according to the Bible, they will remain in God's presence and those who aren't part of the covenant will be thrown into Hell because when they had the opportunity, they rejected God.
Is it true? You can either ask God to confirm it to you or wait and see.

--God doesn't favor people over each other; He loves us equally
How are we different?
Salvation, simply put. A beliver has chosen to accept the gift Christ gave, a non-believer has decided not to. Free will is a choice.
That's how I feel.
