If so, what was your experience? Positive or Negative

Second part of question: Whether your experience was positive or negative, did any prayer, word, song inspire or encourage you?

Chatting: Reported? What? If you have a problem with the question, you didn't need to drop by and answer it. I'm looking for some good answers, not judgements as to whether or not it was a question!

4Jesus--Thank you for telling your experience. It was wonderful. I also love "Awesome God". It exalts the One we love.

This morning, I was home and attended Radio church which, not my preference of physical attendance, but was wonderful. but I feel as though I've been given the additional gift of ministry from all of you, whom I have not met. A song that touched me was Andrae Crouch's, "The Blood Will Never Lose It's Power", written when he was only 14.

The Pastor's message was great today and before that I really enjoyed singing this song.

Faith (R. Morgan)
by Hillsong United
album:
I'm reaching for the prize, I'm giving everything
I give my life for this; it's what i live for
Nothing can keep me from all that You have for me
You hold my head up high; I live for You

Pre-Chorus:
Greater is He that's living in me
Than he that is in the world

Chorus:
Faith, I can move the mountain
I can do all things through Christ, I know
Faith, standing and believing
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"

At the end of the service when our Pastor gave the altar call I was standing and believing that the Lord had brought people to the church today whom He was calling into his family while praying for Him to lead them forward.

The first woman to come up was in tears and I felt moved to see that the Spirit of God was working in our midst. http://www.alcf.net

It never ceases to amaze me that when we go wanting something from church you can come away with nothing- but when you go for the reason you desire to worship Him, then you come away encouraged.

Today's worship songs were centered around the theme of allowing the Holy Spirit mold us into what He desires us to be, and our Pastor is doing a series on Luke- and today he spoke on John the Baptist- and how if we have truly repented our lives will show forth that by fruits in our lives, and how that can only happen if our roots really go deep in the Lord.

You asked if my experience was positive or negative? I would definitely say positive- joining together in worship is the most rewarding thing we can do, even when the songs may not be our most favorite- because it is Him we are to worship. Hope that you had a wonderful time this morning.

Yes. lsaiah 52, written 500 years before Christ, and prophesying his death, is awesome. This is one way we know it's real. The following chapters describe the 'final war' - not long before they are fulfilled!

But the bit I enjoy most are the hymns. My church is a small old-fashioned assembly, and we have some amazing music. The ones written by Charles Wesley I find especially affecting, because not only are the words good but the music has a hypnotic quality that takes me somewhere else; it's like meditation.

Yes, yesterday I celebrated Sabbath . I lit the candles and said the prayer.Saturday I took a walk and enjoyed nature. I did something good for someone, shared a meal. I love the sabbath.

This morning I went to church with a friend. We had coffe in the church kitchen. . . went to a bible study. . . sang. . .heard a good sermon. . . and had a GREAT fellowship dinner. The most important and most positive part was the love, such love was expressed for one another. The song I liked was: I'm trading my sorrows. . . I'm trading my pain. . . I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. The sermon spoke of confronting our sins, repenting, and turning from them and then 'fulfilling the holy ambition God has put in our life.' I was both inspired and loved.

I have a non-resident pastor so I did not GO to church.
I order DVDs, books and cassettes for free.
I study and pray everyday.
I learned that God can and will frustrate the plans of evil nations.
I feel this is very appropriate in the times in which we live.
Christians need to use 1John1:9 and pray 2nd Chronicles 7:14.
Peace out.

The gathering of the saints is always positive and encouraging. When we all praise and worship our Lord it is definitely strong. I always ask the Holy Spirit not to pass me by. I want to be touched, filled and stirred up by the Holy Spirit.
The last song we sang was "Awesome God" and that encouraged me.
How about you? You didn't write about your experience? & if it was pos or neg?

I didn't go to church this week, and it was the greatest experience!!!

Come to think about it, I haven't been in mass for 2 or 3 years. I usually go when there's a wedding or graduation of family members and close friends. I just sit my *** on the bench and stay still. I don't kneel, I don't stand up or say any prayers.

i hate church.
when everyone begins to PRAY, the begin, and i begin, when they end, i am just beginning to Find the spirit of prayer in honesty and truth.
If there are people in church who follow satan, they are Highly respected above all others as the RIGHTEOUS and HOLY family. but if their deeds were known and judged they would be condemned by God. but people aspire to be like "THEM".
true and honest people who follow false teachers, false prophets and false witnessess, are the reasons why christianity religions are apostate. Yet everyone says with one accord and in unity, they have the truth. They Know God.
