Notice the number of people who will complain about it. The fact is, Yahoo deletes every single post that gets reported, because they are friggen retarded. Now, please stop saying that your post was deleted because "Christians" can't handle this or "atheists" don't like that, you may be right sometimes, but who cares? Just repost and move on.

I had one deleted, and I thought it was a meaningful question at the time.

I asked "Help - I've managed to duct tape myself to the ceiling again. How do I get down?"

Yahoo told me this advocated violence against people [??].

(Luckily, the duct tape gave way on its own, but the landing wasn't that pleasant.)

Yes , I've only been answering questians for a couple of weeks, but I've noticed this trend, also. Maybe it's because people are concerned about the existence of God and how we all Really got here. With world conditions getting worse and more confusing, people want more assurance of Some Entity 'out there' hopefully Really being in control. I simply answer questions Biblically since this Is the religion / spirituality section. God IS alive and well -- God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit really do exist. -- and the Gospel is for everyone 1Corinthians 15: 1- 5 -- and all of us have the freedom to accept to reject. Acceptance results in Heaven. Rejection results in Hell.

I've never had a question removed. However, I've gotten several violation notices about my answers, and I agree with you. The Yahoo monitors and I don't always see eye to eye about what constitutes a valid reply to a question. I've had answers deleted for no other reason than I disgreed with the questioner.

I don't think it has a thing to do with anyone's belief system -- just whoever is monitoring the boards on a particular day. Like you said, repost and move on.

It's not as simple as you just described.

I had three Christians who reported almost all my questions. I had 9,000 points on that account, which was also my main mail and 360 account. I stopped using it for Answers, because of that reason.

I use this account now, a new one, and I wouldn't care if yahoo deletes it in the end.

How do I know it were Christians? They mailed me, and even told me they were having everything I posted deleted. They were even proud of the fact it worked. In the name of God.

Oh well.

Btw, I never have reported anybody, not even the three Christians that reported me. Simply because I think the 'report abuse' is silly, and it denies me the opportunity to educate a person. Even a total racist or discriminative post shouldn't be deleted. If I can change the mind of only 1 racist, then my visit to this forum has been useful.

No it takes a few. I have several accounts and I have experimented on it a little. Certain words make it more likely that it will be deleted. It also seems the more points you have without deletions, the less chance.

But yes it ends up being retarded and random. I get one or two a week, and they are never the ones that I think might.

Well there is generally some reason that a post gets reported. And in general I've found that it's not so much about the guidelines as it is some game they play with each other. "You reported me so I am going to report you"

I just use good answer/bad answer. I miss that option on questions.

I've had several decisions reversed because of bad deletions. Like "advertising" when I link to the APA. I got 10 points back for that. Once in a while Yahoo is willing to admit that it's wrong.

You are correct... almost everyone has had a post deleted. There are no "censors" at yahoo and there is no plot against any belief system. If one person says it's offensive.... off it goes by computer program.

I've had a few deleted. Not questions just answers.
